what is the mA on your charger? I bought one somewhere else and they sent me a 420mA but my other charger from a different company and similar set was a 200mA. What charger is my best bet?

Thats the thing it is an ego charger and i have read that they should not be used (420ma) as it will fry (overheat) it. But the supplier says to use it as it will charge the battery faster and to just watch it. So i am just wondering is it true a 420ma will fry it?

Hey Grim, assuming you used this battery a bit more, if you were to buy the batteries in the 5 pack for $60. How do you think the value is of this? Assuming they have the 30% off soon ,you are looking at $42 for 5! I only have 2 batteries currently for my 510 (sole device) and want to take my auto battery and toss it in the trash. Looking to pick up a couple new ones, and torn between these and regular 510's. Any thoughts?

Do yourself a favor and get a Janty Stick. Batteries last as long or longer than a pen style and only cost about 2 bucks to replace.

It uses 10440 batteries. Available from janty as well as hobby, electronics and various online stores. I think the battery was originally designed for RC cars. Its about the size of a AAA batter but higher voltage and amperage.

I would warn people about buying from this company not to do it.

They treat their customers like dirt, send out faulty products, ignore your complaints etc...

I bought 2 5-packs from them. Nine of the 10 items did not work... What are the odds of that happening randomly? Only one battery worked, but even that one did not work well. There was no warranty on the 5-packs, so it was my loss.

In the long run, it was their loss. I ended up buying A LOT from other suppliers.

In addition to their poor quality product (my experience), TW has a lot to learn about customer service.

Now I have 3 of these, and not one has the button problem. IDK Mine hit harder than the normal ones.

Normal ones for me last about one hour my vapping stile, and these last about 5-6 hours. For me they are a lot better to carry around.

Also there is a auto 306 battery that is 98mm long vs the MEGA that is 90mm long. It should work on the 510s also.

One of my 510 batteries has that issue, the button doesn't work the first try, about one time out of ten charges. I noticed that those times it doesn't work, I'm pressing downand a bit sideways. Now I try to press straight down. I haven't noticed it again. My 510's aren't from TW though. Also, personally, I'd rather buy three regular batt's for that price.

It's funny that you mention about the button not working every 10 puffs or so. I noticed that since day one on my 510 passthru from TECC and on one of my regular 510 batteries after about 3 weeks use now. The battery I can see that happening, but not my brand new passthru.

We can sit and hypothesize all day on what it could be, but we didn't make them and we'll never know. In the end, it's just an annoyance more than a major issue.

Its not a defect just with your battery. I bought a bunch of stuff from TW and about half of it was faulty. never again. the should have called that thing "the Bat". its looks as big as one and the same color.

I'm leaning towards the idea that you got a bad battery. Nobody ever complains about dead battery's because they never arrive dead. They usually work pretty well or they don't work as well as others and nobody notices because IT'S WORKING.

You probably got some f'd up cells. The real question is how long does your regular 510 last for when you vape? Once you make the comparison I can give you a definite answer to your confusion. Hit me up with a pm.

yeah possibly i'll go look around , another chap i was talking to said that the 510 attys draws more amperage from the battery than say a penstyle atomizer. Hence the 6 hour battery life.

I'm not saying that I know everything (cause I don't) but it's a metal contact. I believe that it's the construction of the atomizer.

I believe what is really happening is that the titans produce so much because they have well constructed atomizers, they run at 3.7 like everything else but the amperage is higher.

That is what's most likely. However, the mah is always constant. It should be double the time in my professional opinion.

18650's are big, the switch has NOTHING to do with drawing more power. The difference is the obvious. You have a shutoff with a 901 and you usually put it down for a second where the titan you can go as long as you want. It's variable.

Milliamps are the amount of volume of the flow from the source. The higher it is the better.

Possibility's

1.) shitty mah battery used in production

2.) shitty battery. You may have dead cells. Ask for a replacement

3.) Penstyles got a 6 second drag cutoff

Thanks for the review. I thought about getting two of those but bought a PCC for $25 ($31 shipped) and now I am 100% sure I made the right choice! I only get about 2-3 hours on a normal battery (heavy use) so at least there are options to extend battery life on the 510's.
