Hogan hog up the spotlight with Bischoff's son who also wants to be a wrestler. Its bad enough WWE has HHH doing it whenever he wants but it's even worst trying to watch Hogan screw over people who deserve to be in a better place just cause he isn't feeling it brother. What a douche.
Beginning looked like something WCW with the Nitro Girls but of course different cause it is in a different country altogether. It's sad to see Dinsmore fall so below what he once was. He looked more like Norman from WCW than anything. Matches were short but crowd was hot mostly. Alot more than WCWWE and TNA's orlando scene. Even though the roster is a bit weak and I couldn't understand what they were saying, it was nice not to hear Cole contradict himself on a weekly basis or....
What the fuck did I just watch? Garbage garbage garbage. But with that said, the 10 million people who watched this past week apparently didn't think it was garbage. What happened to wrestling? The WWF and WCW of the 80's and 90's will never be duplicated. Now we have this trash, T(rash)NA, and WWE - We Were Entertaining.
God just shut the fuck up and watch some other wrestling promotion if all you're gonna do is bitch about how good it was back then and how bad it is now. People will never let it go.
@BrIaNXDFILMS Shut up you monkey. It's called right to an opinion, if you don't like it, go fuck yourself you piece of shit. And for the record, I do still watch, because I've always liked wrestling. You can watch your garbage television and get a hard on watching these dancing freaks make a mockery out of what was once a great show.
@Yesiamblind As I recall, that is exactly how another company pushed Masters........until he started getting himself suspended, then they buried him for years until he left
News: King Ka Ring is a total success so far. Based on their ratings in India, they had around 14 millionen viewers ..... which is more than Raw has worldwide. Holy crap! TNA found gold there. Will the WWE soon try to step on the Indian market as well? I don't think so. They have their hands full with their current project: the network. Much going on again in the wrestling world these days. T'was about time .......
Aww come on guys... u have only been critcizing so what if it King of the Ring or Ring ka King.. its pure entertainment factor and its about time we get our own version of WWE or WWF I am sure 90% of us were brought up watching Wrestling and its sheer entertainment... so would appreciate it if you guys enjoy the show... instead of complaining.. its not easy to pull of a show like this... and i really enjoyed the thrill element...
Ring Ka King(Hindi or Urdu) literally translates into English as 'King of the Ring'(ring any bells?). Just throwing that out there for anyone who cares. Lol.
Half my family are Asain and watch this so I've began watching it as well and I watch WWE & TNA. Ring ka King is owned by TNA and this was quite a good idea for TNA to make this show because its actually good but it looks more fake than WWE/TNA
lol I believe that is the new church theme that eugene is coming out with if i'm not mistaken. It sounds remixed. Anyway pretty good show. Not bad for a first episode. pretty interesting.
This is awesome! I'm proud of TNA and their accomplishments. Having world wide wrestling programs. This seems like just the start of a profitable company. I also think because of the language this show will be unpredictable.
People should lay off dissing all the pageantry and lack of wrestling. It's the first friggin' episode, so it's gonna be a big ass deal with lots of hooplah. The rest of the shows probably won't have all the dancing and have more wrestling.
@TommyIsCancer But in this case, since this is the first show, I think it was neccesary to take more time to focus on the characters than the actual in-ring action.
@frrrrrunkis That's because India is a new market. They're desperate for wrestling. I'm gonna laugh when this really takes off and starts hurting WWE.
@oabc7 He is a trainer at OVW in Louisville KY. This is the place where a lot of big WWE names came from before they used FCW. Its sad that TNA had to recycle the DR. gimmick. About two or three years ago it was Dr. Stevie Richards.
Sorry but no comment, it has potential but it fails at the moment. WWE fail when they do over the top dance trying to add this sort of stuff into it, and so will TNA.
@apariciodarkside It's a TNA product, aimed at an audience that definitly isn't american. They are trying. Least give them credit for doing something new and stop being such a smark about it all.
@HpseoJ Like I said, it has potential. I did watch the whole thing and it does give something different for a change, but there's somethings in the show that isn't really needed.
@apariciodarkside What's in the show that isn't needed? I thought it was perfectly fine wrestling show, aimed at an Indian audience totally new to the concept of wrestling. The singing and dancing at the beginning is part of Hindi culture, and fits perfectly with Bollywood entertainment in that country. Not every revolves around the USA you know.
on a completely unrelated (but sorta related) note, this makes me miss "Outsourced" which was on NBC last season but got axed. now, on a related note, that first guy that came out--WWE needs to give his entrance to Jinder Mahal. Sure it'd be a Funksaurus ripoff, and maybe we don't need 2 dancing guys, but at least somebody....anybody!...would care about Mahal if they gave him a flashy entrance!
A very well done episode for its first, the production value is great, the crowd CRAPS all over the Impact Zones and they did a great job at introducing the wrestlers, looking forward to the next episode.

really good show even though i couldnt really understand everything that the announcers were saying still really enjoyed it more then regular TNA and i hope on the next epidsode their will be more wrestling and less non
@laptop541 Well it's the first episode. So you can expect more dialogue than wrestling but I'm pretty sure the next episode will have more wrestling :D
