My cat got hit by a car and died last year, my mother moved out of my old house I grew up in and gave away my dog last month, while I had to move to Australia to get a stable job for the last 5yrs. It didn't really hit me, I didn't cry, hadn't cried for 6years. But your comment made me truly listen to the words again.

Crying atm. You should never take for granted the people in your life my cat and dog were some of my best friends.
