no. you need to have a homebrew'd wii with this program installed. you go into the program with the game in the system and install the game in the settings menu. the dvd functionality has nothing to do with the installing of a game.

@LuigiFan128 It's IOS dependent if a game works or not. Super Mario galaxy 2 runs fine on all USB loaders.

yeah that is what i have been doing, i use coverfloader to copy a ISO and transfer them to my TB in a Wii iso folder and use usbloader gx to play them, i did look at wiiflow but i have a usa wii... it sucjs haveing to us a 8gig usb. i have to transfer 1 game at a time.. :(

@texasspawn It is possible to partition an external hard drive just for wii games. that's how i did it. i split 30gb for wii, and 600gb separate for whatever. just create a raw partition and assign a drive letter to it. then format it to WBFS with the WBFS Manager program and you're set :] Just google WBFS Manager if you need the program

where did you get all those games?? i have 8 gig usb scan disk to try to figure out downloading ISO's of the net which i am having trouble finding, but i have a 1TB to which i have plenty of space for tons of games.. do you know if i can only partition a select space within my 1TB. so i could use say 300-500 gig's for my wii games and the rest for my movie's, music, pictures, etc..??../?

@texasspawn Well, instead of partitioning, why not just use folders? Select the wii games you want untill you get to your space you choose, then place them in one folder.

Need some help with usb loaders. . .when I add some games on and play them they work fine but after I added ore games on and some of the games I put on the hard drive before don't load, it just freezes and or just a black screen as soon as i click load game, Any advice on how to fix this problem?

Way faster. Besides "saving" DVDs, it's all conveniently stored in one single USB drive.

Wii games run at 6x speed. Copied games run at 3x speed. Running off a USB, it runs at 8x.

Not only that, you never have to change a disk again lol. If you're friend has a game you want, don't download it - just borrow his, put it in your Wii, and install it to the Hard Drive just like that.

I know that the "music" folder should be placed in wiiflow. but if i load it all up, wiiflow is telling me...error!

to use forwarder channels you have to rename your folder to wiiflow. so if you are using Wiiflow_222, just rename it wiiflow.

And I have found that I have to turn off /on my HDD in order to be recognized.

But, Is there a way to avoid doing this everytime I open Wiiflow?

You have 2 USB ports on your Wii, if the box is lying flat it is the one on the bottom. Or you could just look closely at the box as my USB ports are marked 0 and 1.

you don't have to do anything manually for the game sound. i don't know if it downloads or extracts them, but it's done automatically

It's the sound for what would play in the Disc Channel, grabbed automatically from the game ISO file.
