yes it would have been stronger if they used more rebar..... duh!!! but there is nobody puts bar in garage slabs around here, but with that being said different places, different ppl plus you don't need expansion around......
Hate to criticize anyone but that was not a good job. Should have used a lot more rebar raised up on chairs. should have used expansion joint material around the perimeter where the concrete block footings are.
Added too much water.

you would've been better off using mesh. The rebar is flat on the ground instead of mid pour and doing almost nothing.
