Equally troubling are the comments of Justice Scalia in his dissenting opinion in the Troy Davis case: "This court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." I guess as long as the trial is "fair" it doesn't matter whether you are innocent.

I love it! But the one time that I can remember of a white guy given execution by lethal injection was in 2001 for Timothy McVay, for his crime of the OK bombings in 1995...but otherwise, TX is one of the biggest supporters of "capital punishment" that I've seen so far
