Chris... Great to see you in Raleigh. - We should work on your performance as I think it could be ... Killer, with regard to your audio/video .... I can make it as good as you Are. - why have shit in the air? - 'Teach', we really enjoyed seeing, watching, meeting and talking with you. Say hello sometime. SB ... in Raleigh,
@MyChib Hi man, to me he looks fine - nice positioning, but if you look at Kevin Schwantz or Mike Doohan when they rode, they both had rather odd riding positions. Schwantz always looked 'twisted' on the bike and had a distinct style - real 'sit up and beg'. Doohan also looked 'twisted' with his butt off, but upper body/head over the centre of the bike. I suppose it's what works for you. When I ride on track, my positioning is similar to this guy's, but I'm nowhere near as talented! LOL
@MyChib Everyone has their own style but the cookie cutter is (for a left turn) sit back in the seat, left butt cheek off the seat, right nipple to the left side of your gas tank, and head off the left side looking into your turn. (vise versa for a right turn)
When it comes to fast cars & fast bikes, especially high revving BMW's, it must be a sin punishable by death to have music in the video, the only music must be the engine.
Actually this track is extremely bike friendly. At least top 4 track in US for bikes...don't know what you are expecting...Jerez? Not going to comment on riding techniques...just jealous that my R6 doesn't take only 6 seconds to go from Carousel exit to braking zone of T7. :(
Because I'm heavy on the rear brake trying to have fun and back it in. No ABS/DTC on this bike. Slipper works great...100+ mph and just drop it into 1st gear and let the clutch out. If I wasn't playing with the rear brake, it would track perfectly.
@TeachTrix I see, I don't like feeling of backing in my bike on the track and never touch the rear brake (unless I go off roading). Sometimes I will let the clutch out to fast and get some rear wheel hop but I try to avoid it :)
@lowlypawn Because he is out there having fun and generally stuffing around not trying for the fastest lap. It is so much more fun to back it in but for the average rider it is a lot slower to do it that one.
From Nh just like me rode for Argo cycles

Wooh, 2:35 I thought a tankslapper was coming on, made me cringe for a sec. Doesn't look like a very bike friendly track.

Nice Vid. I dont understand why he is getting so much rear wheel hop (4:55) with a slipper clutch and ABS?
