Just to clear it up, the parts are: Karen-soprano, Dorinda-alto, Twinkie-tenor, Jackie-bass. They all have a range of alto and/or above (including Jackie) but the parts they always chose in the harmonies they sang are the ones that naturally fit their individual voices. It's the same with any groups. I once sang in a male quartet and was the bass of the group (but I'm a 2nd tenor) and at a different time, a male trio and was the "soprano" (or just was given the highest part) of the group

@TJCollins21 Okay. With all due respect, it doesn't really matter who you sing with or what training you possess, the fact is Jacky almost never sings lower than Twinkie. Lots of people will come on here and debate this but you just have to simply listen the older version and their voice difference is more noticeable. The fact that almost no one has noticed that is not low enough to be bass but is instead a bass-baritone kind of seals the deal. At 1:47 you distinctly hear Jacky on tenor.

You just have to know their voices, and I really do think it's simply common knowledge for any Clark sister fan that if you here 4 part harmony that Twinkie is usually the one on the very bottom, and I think it's perfect that way. I know Jacky sings tenor but I don't believe her lower register is lower than Twinkie's.
