Naja, meine bol`dor hat in Ihrer besten Zeit Laxey runter 11000 U/min und mehr gebracht, ich hatte auch Glück wie Sie, die Bobby`s hatten gerade Teetime. Nächstes Jahr wollte ich mit meiner RD 400 hin aber meine Pappe ist in Flensburg, die macht krach da unterbrechen die Bobby`s ihre Pause wenn ich noch in Ramsey bin, ich hoffe das die guten Leute auf den 400m nicht nach der Pappe fragen.

I've ride this bike once.. It's so boring and slow.. My Kawasaki Ninja zx6r is a Rocket compare to the XJ6.. ;-)

XJ6 is nothing for me ;-)

@ulqin2008 actually this is a naked zx6r its a super sport ofcourse is faster because those 2 bikes have different purpse the XJ6 is for in city commuting and some highway small trips with a sporty character and the zx6r is actually a trackbike with headlights

I noticed the vibration at 5500 rpm and again near 10000.

Maybe Yamaha need the cross-plane crank on the 600s too, or maybe we need to rev quickly past these points

.

I love my FZ6R, great suspension, clutch and brake feel for when I'm learning.

I like to feel the front end as much as possible, I have my car set up with softish springs on the front too. (with a hard sway bar)

De FZ6 is eigenlijk dezelfde motor als de XJ6 en wordt o.a. in America geleverd. Daar kennen ze de XJ6 dan weer niet. Optisch is het enige verschil het zadel, dat dan uit twee delen bestaat en het feit dat de FZ6 niet als naked wordt geleverd.

Ik weet eigenlijk niet of het aantal PK's verschilt.

@borisbarowski yes very reliable and economic and very good handling especially at long distances. i have had a XJ 600 diversion and now a XJ6 never have any technical problems (only 2 ignitions and a new battery )

the only thing they could make better is the suspension pressure

mensen... dat klopt niet!!! absolut niet.... fz6 heb je ten eerste zeker als naked en dat ook in nederland

2. zijn er heel wat verschillen (zwaartepunt, looks, motor, etc.)

3. de xj6 is niet het selfde hij is bedoeld als instapper en de motor is niet te vergelijken

de fz6 is sneller en heeft iets meer pk's... maar het gevoel van een xj6 is veel sneller dan de fz6

xj6n seems to be best value for money amongst all the other japanese and europeans. however, the buzz at 6000rpm is a little bit off-putting. as you are the one who rides it everyday, does it bother you at all? been seriously thinking of getting one for myself.

Everybody starts about the buzz at 6000rpm.

Part of this buzz is made by the camera.

The camera also tapes the sound of the chain. You can hear this in the beginning of the video.

Riding the bike i hardly notice this buzz.

My advice; ride the bike and see.

@iktv1977 thats wrong, all the v-twins start alot earlier. So the ER6, Gladius, monster, etc.. Which are among those naked bikes.

Hey,

Het filmpje is een fragment uit een langer stuk. Ik was eigenlijk niet van plan het gas volledig open te draaien.

De acceleratie kan in het echt nog sneller.

Het geluid is nu na 4500km ook iets anders, doordat de motor volledig is ingereden.

Aankomend voorjaar zal ik er een nieuw uitlaatsysteem opzetten.

Voorlopig gaat mjn voorkeur uit naar het nieuwste systeem van Leovince.

Helaas is dit systeem nog niet leverbaar en zijn er nog geen geluidsfragmenten van.

Wachten op 2010 dan maar.

Hi, the FZ6S2 is a great bike. A bit more for open road.

The XJ6 is a great riding bike for city and twisted roads.

Both bikes are fun to ride. :)

I love this bike! I did a test-ride on it today and instantly pre-ordered one in midnight black for next April, because it's totally sold out by now. I think, it has a great acceleration and even a pretty though sound with the standard exhaust. Even though I'll have to ride it reduced to 34 HP for one year and my younger bro owns a YZF-R1 2008, I don't think I need to feel jealous ;) Can you tell me the maximum velocity of the bike at it's ful performance?

Two weeks ago i drove 900Km in 3 days, not on highway but all local roads (Eifel-Germany). I had no problems with the comfort, and i'am 182 in lengt.

The bike did 20Km on 1 liter of fuel, so you can ride about 250Km befor stopping for gas. Overall i think this is an acceptable range.

If you want to buy this bike, just go for a testride. its a very easy bike to ride.

I will go for a test ride next week. the stock exhaust sounds awesome after 5000rpm. before that there is some clutter. am i right ?

After 5000rpm the bike sound great, but this is typical for 4cilinder bike.

Note that at 5000rpm your speed allready is about 90Km/H, at top gear.

The sound of a Leovince exhaust is great. I don't know if this infects the warranty, but if its installed by a official motorstore this must be oke.

Leovince is one of the first with a xj6 exhaust. ill wait untill other producers will make one aswell

yes its the original exhaust.

note that the xj6 is a 4cilinder bike and the er-6 a 2cilinder.

This makes a great difference in riding comfort.

I am riding for 8 years, but this bike is perfect for firsttime riders.

Other simular bikes are Kawasaki ER6 and Suzuki Gladius.

I think the XJ6 looks best and has std ABS.

At the motorstore they can change the single back-suspension to lower the seathight by a few cm.

Overall this bike is fun to ride

The camera was fitted on a Ram Mount.

For me this was the best solution, because i used a normal flash-digital videocamera.
