I have to agree. Accuracy with words -- i.e. *context* -- is all-important. "Graph Theory" is the theory of graphs with vertices, edges, and direction (or not). Like in the "Traveling Salesman Problem", etc. Cartesian "graphs" are a WHOLE different kettle of fish...

That's not graph theory, it's analytic geometry. Graph theory is a completely different subject.
