I just got sprayed with it yesterday and it is absolutely awful! I would not wish it upon anyone. You really cannot describe the pain. We were sprayed with SABRE and I believe it is 10% pepper. We also had to punch two bags for a minute,hit another bag with a baton, order someone onto the ground and then run and call for help. Ridiculous
OC works. i'm in the military and when we trained for non-lethal riot control, we all had to get sprayed with it. it feels like someone has a pencil in their hand and they're jabbing it into your eyes. forget charts, get sprayed with it then tell me how weak it is...
it reaches your eyes then your eyes shut themselves, its basically like acid and burns at the eyes, skin and area of exposure, its made of strong chemicals and so on
That's pretty much how everyone looks when they get sprayed. But when your adrenaline is pumping(i.e., when you're in a fight) you don't feel the pain until it's over and done with. Keeping your eyes open is a problem, regardless. But you can simply pry your eyes open with your fingers and fight that way. OC has its advantages but it's not going to "stop" anyone who is determined to fight you. It may give you the advantage, however...assuming you don't get any spray on yourself.
