howzit linaka! i am living is western kansas. i left hilo in 1982 after completing a year at UHH. then went to loma linda univ, for a year. then transferred again to colorado state u.

yeah, may day! i was telling my youngest daughter about may day...all the leis that we used to wear to school...and the new mumu's... ! i attended kal. school in papaikou and remember doing the 'may pole' ! fun!

I clearly remember one summer day in 1977 in Hawaii - all the TV casters were wearing dark suits instead of aloha shirts (as they usually having on), I found the "King of Rock & Roll" passed away.

Anyway, this song reminds me of lots of sweet memories at my high school days.
