You realize that Hue didn't take control over the team right? He had to answer to Mark for everything, because Hue's contract said that he had to report to the General partner (the Davis' in this case) for everything. Mark is the one who pulled the trigger on the Palmer deal, yet everybody says it was all Hue. Hue was the reason why DMC and DHB shed their bust labels, and the reason why the offense finished in the top 10

DHB had just under 1,000 yards receiving this year, and had more catches/yards than he did his first two years combined. Any Raider fan knows that Al hand picked his coaching staff, so Hue had no control over the defense (meaning he can't fire anybody) and he was stuck with Bres. And a win is a win, OT or not

@comehonorface666 I agree w/ coaching staff, Al always does that. But Hue did some stuff that was stupid too. He couldn't manage a game, used too many TOs at the wrong time, went for it on 4th down too many times, playcalling was terrible. He'd BS the injuries (DMC), and the whole Campbell situation was not classy at all. And the whole throwing the team under the bus and practically trying to call a power play on Mark/Amy after the game wasn't smart either.

@KL209 half of it IS his fault. but if you actually go back and watch the game its the offensive line and there holding penaltys on big plays, false starts every drive..easy dropped passes by the Recievers, no Run success etc. hes trying to make somthing happen with nothing! then u have hue jackson with stupid play callin. then the defense lets the offense score every drive it seems. and the other team automatically knows a pass is coming. blame coach and dcoordinator. aka THE WHOLE TEAM

@KL209 Hue does deserve some credit, but not all of it. Most people just point their fingers at Hue and Palmer now, but it goes beyond them. Hue has never been a head coach on any level, so I'll give him some slack for that. You're right though, blame the whole team, not just Palmer and Hue. Consistency is the issue. We've seen this team cut down the penalties in a couple games this season, and we've seen the defense fly around and make plays. We'll see if the "bully" actually shows up this week

@wankstatears243 I'm referring to how the Raiders have had a much tougher schedule in the first five weeks compared to the Chargers. The Chargers have played 4 horrible teams, and the Pats (whom we both lost to). The Raiders have had to play three top 10 teams, and a team that went to the AFC championship game last year. I only bring that up because I've seen alot of Charger trolls bragging about their record so far.

I'm hoping for two great games between OAK and SD this year.

this is what the raiders have been missing for a long time. A coach that has this much emotion and belief in his players. It seems the guys are buying into what Hue is preaching. It may not always be pretty, but put in 110% every play and great things will happen.

I just have a feeling that this could very well be our year. Maybe not superbowl, but definitely a playoff run.
