I think before giving your opinions on the issue you better read history and you will discover that Arafat create the PLO in 1964, before Israel took Gaza from Egypt (yes, NOT from the so called Palestinians) and west bank from Jordan (again NOT from Palestinian). So PLO, Hamas and other Palestinian armed fractions have nothing to do with Gaza or West bank but ONLY with the destruction of Israel. Unfortunately this is the aim today and NOT having a Palestinian state or better status of living.

I focuse on the 12 months leading to December of 2008 that were so horrific for Israel that they just had no choice by to unleash the Israeli military on Gaza.
During that 12 month period, the Israeli deaths from hamas rockets = 0, the Israeli deaths from suicide bombers = 0.
Meanwhile, the IDF killed 430 plus Gazans durong that period during military incursions and God knows how many died due to the blockade you know nothing about.
