  • @superranger94 yeah but the parts to fix an lsx block are a bit steeper because of its correlation with the vette... my buddy has a 98 ls1 z28 and its fast as shit but the heads and rods and cams are way way more expensive than 5.0 parts trust me i've owned a few and parts are cheap... plus you cant beat the sound of a stang

  • Put a breather in the valve cover. U won't need an oil catch can. Fixed my problem. I was shooing oil right out the dip stick.

A z06 is fast, handles better than any ford besides the 150k gt, and is the one of the cheapest true supercars. Oh yea, and you can actually sell it and make your money back.   • @f34rthe4banger I agree with some of what you are saying.......but I have a good job and I have a low mileage 97 Cobra that has well over 500hp that i built. I said all that to say i built this car because my other car is to nice to race. I built both cars and it's fun to build something be it a peace of crap or an awesome car. There is nothing like knowing you did that, not saying it's not nice to go buy a 100,000 dollar car but to each is their own.

  • @moody2876 Well i drive an 02 z28, Im not rich by any means. So I dont have much of a choice but If I did Id rather spend 35k on a stock c5 z06 than spend 8 grand on a car, and wasting 15 more grand making it what another car already is only to get about 10 out of the cheap car. Whereas i could enjoy my stock 450hp and reliability/breaking/handling and then only lose 1-2k when I resell. I need to win the lottery Lol.

  • That is a very nice setup. Do some research on the intercooler though if you want. The theory is that air should not be able to blow straight through them from inlet to outlet thus bypassing 70% of the intercooler. I have seen that its suggested to have the inlet go in to the side at a 90 deg angle to the core tubes.
