@Valoop Thank you so very much!! ... Hair shaping is definitely an art to me... I love nothing more (than custom hair coloring combined with a great hair cut)... to shape custom angles into the hair to accentuate one's features and enable the hair texture to come alive. :)

@LongHairisBest Thank you! When people ask me, "What's IN STYLE?", I'm not one to try to "show off"... I simply respond, "A happy Client is what is IN STYLE." :-) And most of the time the Client prefers to keep her hair! Yet, I absolutely love it when a Client says DO what I want... and allows me to "go for it"... Although it is rare... I love it. So, yes! We make happy Clients! And yes, I have within my Clientele less than 10 short haired Clients. :-) Thanks for commetning!

Ok I have finally joined youtube. To be able to say I think you do a wonderful job. I love that you do not make it seem it has to be a certain way to cut hair. As makeup is the same it should be fun and outside the box. I love this particular one that you do very much because it is simple, but fun. Kinda like it is educational but FUN! You're a very good stylist, I just haven't seen anyone cut hair quite like you. You do create nice styles and I do enjoy watching your videos. I'd like to see you cut a nice softly layered blunt type cut. If you have any videos of that kind, please let me know. I just haven't gotten used to the way you cut "into" the ends of the hair. It always left me thinking the ends weren't even. :-)

i have a question, what suggestion do you have for a long hair male cut? my bf has long curly hair its about mid back, he wants to retain length. i want to get rid of the weight. he usually wears it curly but sometimes straight. i was never good with mens cut (student stylist by the way) all of my ideas would look great on a woman, might be too feminine for a man. do you think you can help me?

With men, it is important to keep the edges of curly cuts less blunt so they look more "worn" and natural versus "cut". I would use a razor to soften the edges. :-) And I would create long uneven layers as well. Just think "worn hair"... instead of fresh looking long hair cut. :-)

Your work is shear genius Sharon, and the partings so precise. I like the way that you break rules and innovate but still use exterior structure. One production note, keep your hot lights high and use a contrasting cape next time so that we can observe your technicals a little better. Fantastic work.
