Amazing dog and Amazing throws!...I just discovered what this sport is about!

We have a Sheltie who LOVES frisbee, he would catch them all day long.These dogs live for frisbee! We will try to teach some fancy stuff...well, maybe! Thank you for sharing the videos!

Bordermom. you can star jumping your dog at the age of one (1). but make sure before you start jumping him/her you need to get a vet check up on his/her hips an legs an also his/her spine just to be on the safe side. =)

Okay, I have a one year old BC, which is a gift to my 22 year old son. This dog is high drive and frisbee and ball crazy. How young can you start their jumping? I've heard the growth plates have to be formed. So far we don't let him jump too high, or twist. Although, he will jump and twist and who can stop him , ugh. When is this safe, at what age?

Awesome video!!!1 I have a seven month old border collie named Maggie who is frisbee(and ball!!!) crazy. She can already jump and catch the frisbee with skill. I sure wish I could talk to you about the more advanced tricks and how you go about training them to do them. Also I wish you could show me how you throw the frisbee like that! :) Seems that that is 90% of it. They can only do as well as you throw... Much impressed here..... Amy, from Texas.. :)
