There is no point to learn japanese, because is the one of the hardest language in the world so it's not that important, I suggest that you tey and learn german, Don't waste your time learning japanese, it's never gonna happen, Thumbs up if you agree.

@Kursat484 I think Spiderwoman is doing a good job at teaching us Japanese. Think of it this way, Only 3% of Japanese speak English, while over 35% of Germans speak English. So it makes sence to learn Japanese, one can earn a lot more money in Japan being an interpreter than you would in German. Always remember this, Knowledge is Power, and Power is Money.

@higurashimori In this context 日 is hi (hee), pronounced bi (bee) here, which means 'sun' or 'day'. As for the first part of the words, from my understanding, just like the English names for the days of the week are based on Roman astronomy/astrology, the Japanese days are based on ancient Chinese astronomy/astrology.

I think the counting system in Japanese is the hardest. Not only the days of the month but if you're counting cylindrical objects, people, etc. They all have different notations. :( I had a hard time with that.
