Ok, I understand exactly what you mean about the ignorance of Christians concerning the name "Allah." It is very true. However, etymology does not justify who God is and His nature. I know you will disagree with me on this since I am a Christian... I am well aware of our differences in our understandings of God. We believe that we have the full revelation of God... Obviously you are going to disagree. We think Mormons are crazy because they say they have a full revelation of God.
There will always be strife and differences of opinion.

The Holy Spirit is not a prophet, He is the One who speaks the things of The Father and Son to the prophets. There is plenty of scripture and doctrine to say who the Spirit is and what constitute's a prophet. Instead, spend time seeking who Christ is. 300+ prophecies fulfilled in Jesus Christ that where written 200 years before His birth. This is not opinion and cannot be argued or neglected. It is extremely unfortunate that you and I cannot have theology based philosophical discussions. I was raised catholic but have after years in college have truly seen the light and developed my own view of God (most comparable to the Jewish view). I would be really interested in learning the details of other faiths as well.
