It's gonna be close but once you send the NRA member S. Palin out to churn up those voters Hillary got in Ohio, Pa., Michigan and the fact that she is so middle class it will resonate with White voters, the blue collar gun owners that helped Bob Casey beat Rick Santorum. Don't understimate blue dog democrats like in WV not too happy with a potential muslim in office. Hillary won them so will McCain/Palin. It's a cultural thing.

Just because Repubs wouldn't know a fact if it hit them on the head (see Swift Boat and the corresponding book against Obama this time around - plain lies) doesn't mean every book is evil or factually inaccurate.

Regardless of what she says, we now get to hear what the republicans are really thinking other than the spin and this convention "commercial" thats on this week. Despite her column and excuses, I still think when she said "It's over" she meant the McCain campaign. She admits the women isn't the most qualified, that the narrative is "BS," that others in the GOP are infuriated.

These aren't reporters revealing the relevant things... as bravery34 points out (see above) the woman is the very famous Peggy Noonan (she's credited with writing a lot of the more successful Republican phrases in the '80s... I'm sure wikipedia has a decent bio of her... she's considered to be/once was a major force in defining that party, at least in the 20th Century) and another Republican consultant who have been invited to the program for their commentary.
