You all can read more about I Married Joan by getting The Great American Sitcom Book. It has a chapter about that show. You can get it through interlibrary loan. Ask your librarian for more info.

Also, Joan used to have a 1940s radio show called Leave It To Joan. She worked in a department store and dated one of the employees. She also clashed with a female employee (what else?) who dates the boss. The radio show was very funny.
