The grounds of old St. Mary's Industrial School, which is where Babe Ruth spent twelve childhood years (between 7 and 19), are situated on some prime real estate right off of I-95. The Archdiocese of Balto owns the property and is closing the Cardinal Gibbons School. The AOB plans to start accepting bids on the property in September. While we have no idea who will bid, it could very well be a developer.
