  • Thank you for posting this video I hope it will help to motivate us with our extremely laid back Lab. He has always been very chilled but he seems to have lost so much interest in the obedience classes.

    Your dog is lovely!

    I

  • @fernygiggles you have to find out what his job is and reward him for doing it(each dog and breed has a job and a lower specific job)...for my labradane, its his ball(multiple ones). Some breeds like to play fetch(mine would til he had a heart attack), others like to hunt, others like something in their mouth always, others . Other times i think to the dog will adapt his job to please its human....anything it can do to please its human...my dog seems to be on that track. Same with honey here.

  • Good for Honey!! Great job!

  • I can't believe you even remembered there was something to retrieve after that endless "wait" you had to do. You are willing to run much further than I am. Such an athlete!

  • Yay for motivation! it can be hard even for a small dog like mine to get the right motivation, but you did exactly what I do, just make it seem like a retrieve is the funnest thing in the world and they believe you!

  • Great job!!!
