i need something that will blow up on impact and not exit because i'm starting to pelt hunt in winter. my longest shots will be 150 yards maybe 200. i usually whistle them into less than 40 yards anyway. what do you think of the barnes varmint grenade?
Have you got loading data for the .222rem, because I have one and im getting 100 shells reloaded soon. I'm thinking about getting sierra 45gr spitzers, or sierra 40gr hollow points. I don't want 50gr projectiles because I'm only shooting foxes, rabbits, cats and maybe the odd kangaroo. Would you suggest hollow points. I figured a 40gr would give me a bit better velocity and flat trajectory.

They kill chickens and sheep that belong to farmers, which means they have less livestock to sell, and then less wool, eggs etc. A friend of mine only keeps 4 sheep and a handful of chickens, so if he loses one, it has a large impact on his family. I'd gladly shoot the occasional fox to allow a human to live. I'd shoot almost anything to let a fellow human live.
