It does come with an excellent instruction manual, not sure why you didn't get one.

how do you reset the memory in the suunto core? I am going on travel ive had the watch for a couple of months should i change the battery?

Great review, but you missed to say that it has also diving sensor. It's limited to more or less 12 metres.
I have two of them and all I can say about them are good words. Great watch!
