Jim Rome is still very funny. The new buzzer is hilarious. I don't watch his TV show though, the inside jokes, the emailers, the callers...that is what makes the show. Some of the interviews on the radio show are really good, depending on the guest. There will always be haters in everything.

Yeah I'm listening to him now. Warren Sapp is a good interview. The football interviewers are listenable or better. Warren Sapp's laugh reminds me of Dr. Hibbard from the Simpsons.

The callers, jokes and e-mailers do make the radio show.

Rome's pro athlete interviews are boring, because all pro athlete interviews are boring. They can't say anything real because they will get killed in the media. When he has other people on like Marc Shapiro (yesterday) it's good radio.

Anyways that siren is hilarious. I laugh my ass off every time he plays it now during the NCAA tournament. "Bracket Alert! Bracket Alert!"

Yeah I've posted before on stucknut that while the Rex thing in theory is funny...in execution I don't think it's that funny but I can't really say I heard any of the "Rex" interviews, I just knew he was doing them.

I haven't really been able to listen to Rome lately since everything at work is all different now and I can't really just listen to the radio anymore.

I'd take 20 million though to talk about Rexes all week though.

Yeah the thing that made Jim Rome great was talking calls and his reactions to them.

I love a good straight Jim Rome take like anyone, but the callers also kept the show fresh and could inspire Rome to go off on some epic rants.
