Seriously your video saved me, my screen was clogged, and I had an extra but no clue how it went in. Improvised with a wire hanger instead of bamboo stick and tweezers instead of an angled tool, but with your instruction it went off with out a hitch, first try even. thanks really.

If you get a second skewer and poke a skewer in from each end this becomes SUPER easy. :) It's like having two fingers inside and you can then move it about at will very easily.

You can just slide it back on. I told people to first cut it so people don't break their whip and cut their hand. Honestly I have never cut mine, I just pull it off gently. :)

they sell the exact screens in the accessories section of their site

If you replace with the screens we sell, it's super good but the store bought ones are fine if you choose the stainless coarse. just flame it with a lighter or stove to burn the shiny surface off.

It's cuz people were breaking their whips.  The hose sticks on sometimes and the glass tapers really thin there. But if you get it off with no problem, sounds fine. :)

I JUST used this and it worked great. TIPS: Tip 1. Don't do while high. Tip 2. DON'T DO WHILE HOT, which relates to tip 1. Tip 3. Once the screen is in place you no longer need the pick, i overlooked this in the video but they show they it is no longer used in 1:30 The tool we used is a pick for nutcracking. Google nutcracking pick. THANKS VAPORBROS

You don't even need to cut the tube. Just gently pull it off. I've pulled it off and put it back on 4 times now and it's just fine.

Whenever I take off my tube I also pull it off. But can you imagine the people that would try and pull off the tube, have the glass break, and then try and come after me for telling them to do so? Believe me: it has happened. To avoid these types of things we just say cut the tube...it works just as well.

Besides: cutting off 1/4 of an INCH doesn't render the other 3 FEET of tubing useless.

thank you, the video was very informational. I would like to add that when you have your hose cut it is nice to clean your whip, and I have found the most efficient way is some salt,rubbing alcohol, and a little shaking does wonders. Happy vaping

The purpose of cutting the tube is to reduce the chance of the whip breaking and, in turn, injuring your hands. Putting the tube back on is much easier then taking it off. If you have any difficulty putting the tube back on I highly suggest putting a little Vaseline or lotion on the end of the whip thereby allowing the tube to effortlessly slide on.

After several cleanings and cutting the tube it will have to be replaced. Where can the tube be acquired from other than online, maybe a hardware store or is it a certain type of tubing?

Just about any hardware store or place that has plumbing supplies. You want 3/8" vinyl tubing, you can get a 20 foot roll for like 6 bucks.

I have done this several times and not cut the tube. If you run hot water over the end of the glass whip where the tube connects it will slide off easier after gentle constant tugging. Its pretty easy to get back on too. I have broken my whip before in the manner that vapor bros warns against, so I understand the warning; but its pretty easy to not break it if you're careful.
