This looks like it will hook in the back like my T-Road Solid did. I'm impartial to Storm, as they clear the heads easy for me. That T-Road Solid gave a strong midlane, but since it was already sliding so much through the heads it gave it a great midlane-backend instead of all midlane. This new Widow looks like it will be a good replacement for it.

i like storm and brunswick. i like storm cuz it has that back end to it. i got 4 300 on my hy road. i got a storm reign 3 weeks ago and threw my first 300 with it two nights ago. brunswick is good cuz their balls check up earlier and arent so much back end. so its good to have a good mixture. i have 7 300 on my twisted fury and 2 300 on a old wizard. i recommend brunswick and storm. my next 2 choices after that has to be hammer or ebonite

Just got a hammer black widow nasty tonight and i love it. hard to get used to if your throwing those old school urethane balls though. I learned how to bowl with a columbia udot and I'll tell you what these hammers carry so well, i never seen a ball hit the pins harder and drive threw like this ball does. plus my buddy got a storm virtual gravity and it doesnt have near the pin carry as my hammer black widow nasty does. Im a hammer man for life now.

haven't bowled regularly for about 3 years...my equipment was old and out-dated i was throwing a storm trauma and a brunswick danger zone 2....im a left hander throw about 15-17.5 mph and average right about 200 when i quit....got the NASTY and first two series with it .....690 and 707...not bad for being out of the game for so long.....much forgiveness with this ball....for me as long as get out of it clean and keep the ball speed up the ball is predictable and does the rest...hits very hard!!!
This ball is absolutely amazing. I thought my Black Widow Pearl was great. I got this ball about a week ago and my first series was a 774 with it.. My games were 250 224 300. This was also my first 300 game. I would definetly recommend it.

@the300man I agree with you for the most part, but if a ball company throws enough money at a player, he will change his equipment, I believe Walter Ray did so several years ago and his performance suffered for it. I also agree with about the Storm-Hammer debate. My local house Pro loved the Storm Gravity (?) but advised against me purchasing one because he said it would only be good for about 100 games. He reccommended and I bought a Widow and love the ball. the Nasty is next.!

threw one of the demo balls today. I have to say I'm not usually a hammer fan (mostly columbia and roto-grip equipment) but this ball went a lot farther down lane than I would have though and had a very strong and dependable snap in the back-ends. I will be getting this ball for my collegiate tournaments.
And yes they don't lie it really does continue though the pin deck (I left about 10 solid 9s when I pitched the ball out to the dry too far)

They did improve on the Sauce...they came out with the Jigsaw. Same core but much stronger coverstock. Give me the Sauce anyday. That ball has one of the MEANEST midlane reads and continuation through the pins of any any ball on the market.

The most agressive black widow ball so far is the Black widow Sting. i know it sounds wierd but thats the true, believe me. i have recently chatted with a ballreview company in USA and they told me that all black widow balls is good but Sting is the best so far =)

Just look at the smoothness and drive the ball has through the pins. Doesn't over-react and looks like will come back from anywhere.
