  • this boys and girls, is proper music.

  • @dangerousbeans101 Yp, indeed.

  • @LIE4ME I thought it was SEBA!

  • DNB myyyy looooveeee.....................

  • geeez...has it already been 6 years?

this was the first drumfunk tune I've heard...

    and then it began ;)

Paradox, Alaska, Nucleus, Seba, Fanu, Macc, Fracture+Neptune...

all the madness in being constantly hit in the head with drums...

    amazing.

gotta be the best genre of music ever ;)

big ups to Dev, Dev (:P), Sebastian and Robert for this immensly massive tune!

  • @kurakczek Check ealier drumfunk by photek, source direct, hidden agenda and of course Pdox..

  • @94style yup, I already know all of them :) specially dig Source Direct for the darkness and precision programming :)

  • @kurakczek "big ups to Dev, Dev (:P), Sebastian and Robert for this immensly massive tune!"

This isn't robert manos dude, it's Andrew Grant. His voice also featured in "born again" on the arctic foundations album :)

But, I do agree with your opinion, personally this is one of my favorites on PM. Well, either this, or seba's 'steel'

    Just ordered this on wax!

  • @evo636 Oh damn, You're right, it was Adrew Grant... sometimes they are hard for me to distinguish.

Steel/Piemo For B is still my fav. dnb release ever, alongside Aries Maze/Reykjavik...

  • same drum sample used on move on init

  • Love it!!!!

  • wow, progressive drum 'n' bass!

  • @analfrost --yea kinda sux that this funky, soulful, intelligent, jazzy, wet style IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND now....makes me sad. This tune oooooooozzzzzzes fucking artistry. love it:)

  • amazing d^__^b

  • Love it...

  • In what year was this made?

  • OMG I offended the master of Internet!!!

  • 2004

  • Re Re Re Rembo! lol

  • Yes, most breaks made by people who are not idiots are composed of single hits.

  • the break in this is constructed entirely of single hits. amazing.

  • Wow. I made that last comment 2 months ago. This was the first seriously Drumfunk track I ever heard. Since then I've discovered more in the field (Fanu/Samurai, Fracture & Neptune, Photek, Macc, etc.) and realised this track isn't unique. Still one of the best in terms of break science though, I must admit. Amazing what one can discover in two months!

  • Don't forget Alpha Omega and Equinox. Both also great artists.

  • @sasquash12 From my own searching experiance i can add that if track is remixed it is not a masterpiece. It sounds nice, but the masterpiece track cant be remixed, like seba - snow. Probably the only exeption i have found is london elektricity - just one second (apex remix)

  • @sasquash12 good job on the digging. Lots of good stuff out there check out Sciwax records.

  • yum nice as phuck.loving it...clever guy mr. paradox

  • Ah! A better recording than the other one! Sweet! I dig this track immensely. One thing I wonder though, what does "Alaska & Paradox" mean if Alaska and Paradox are the same person? Very strange...

  • In the same sense Dom & Roland are the same person? Just aliases used singularly or in conjunction to remain elusive to fans.

    Fucking huge tune btw

  • yes. but roland is not a person. it is a sampler. ;)

  • I'm aware the 'Roland' aspect is derived from a brand name.

I probably didn't explain it right.

  • name of his keyboard int it?

  • Heh - I've never heard of Dom solo (or Roland solo for that matter).

  • lol - the roland part of doma and roland is his sampler. its just dom and his sampler.

  • are you serious ?! lol

  • @funkspasm Yes I realise that much, but he doesn't carry the thing around with him everywhere does he? lol

  • When he goes Alaska he is more about atmospherics, when he goes as Paradox he's about heavier break beats. When they combine you get heavy breaks with atmospherics, like this tune.
