Heartbroken really that he's gone...but I suppose there is a bright side to this, as small as it may be: Roy left on a high note (sort of...). I mean, there was no mass drama, no sudden split in the band, just a quiet departure. The image of Roy Khan has been immortalized at this point in his life when his image and voice are at their prime, instead of a decline due to age.

For example, I love Guns n Roses but I would HATE to see Roy go in a heap of controversy similar to what Axl whipped up.

I was heartbroken to hear of Roy's departure; this band has affected my life in so many ways and Kamelot has gotten me through a lot.
