Great tip !! I am scratch building a modest Honest John for A thru C sized engines. After sanding the diamond taper on the fins they were very flimsy at the ends. This technique beefed them up very nicely, I am not worried about them breaking too easily now. Plus the diamond taper really shows up nicely thru the paper, can't wait to attach them and get some paint on them.
What type of glue is this?

Could you use a uhu glue stick for applying paper skins?
