Karen Hughes worked in the Bush administration. Her job was to spray perfume on the mountainous shit pile that Cheney and Bush created. She didn't do a very good job.
OF COURSE, America will continue to talk about the WORST PRESIDENT in US history, George W. BUSH, for a LONG, LONG TIME. It will take YEARS to repair the damage he has done. Example: BUSH is the first president in US history to NOT raise taxes to pay for his wars. According to his own Sec. of the Treasury, Paul O'Neill, the BUSH wars in Iraq had cost a TRILLION dollars by 2006 and both BUSH wars will cost ELEVEN TRILLION. We will CONTINUE to blame him until the bill is paid.
It's amazing that people on the left have selective amnesia about their own Bush bashing and hate filled vitriol of the last 8 years. Of course 'the Obama hate on the right' is so bad, in their minds, because of their double standards.
Take, for instance, CNN's Susan Rogen who said to the tea party protester "do you know how offensive that is, he's the PRESIDENT of the united states." Meanwhile, just a few years before that, this was her reaction to a Bush basher: watch?v=o-PfvgiXBtY
Exactly! The left loves having Tina Fey mock Sarah Palin relentlessly, not to mention hurl epithet after her and her kids. They can dish but they cna't take.
Yes, but Karen. . . back when Bush was President, the Left still believed it was patriotic to dissent. It was considered heroic to paint George W. Bush as Hitler. Now the Left has changed and decided dissent is not patriotic, and painting Obama as a totalitarian regime leader is a crime.
Hmmm, in Nazi Germany, dissent was considered criminal. See yourselves there, little lefties?
Anyone saying that there has been one one hundredth of the vitriol directed at Obama than there was at Bush needs their heads examined. Watched any Keith Olbermann? Been to any anti war rallies? Checked the web lately? From comparisons to Bush as a monkey to Hitler to being responsible for Hurricane Katrina to being a war profiteer, a nazi being responsible for 9/11 guilty of war crimes etc. After their villification of Bush it's quite funny to hear people suddenly aware of intemperate words.
I liked the response she elicited when she dared to claim that there was more vitriol directed at Bush than Obama. Why this is a revelation to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together is beyond me.
If our own media can't be trusted to know what the hell's going on in this country (or has been going on since 2000), then I don't think we can trust them to report on what they had for breakfast this morning, let alone our country's current state of affairs.
