She co-wrote with Duane Hitchings and Craig Krampf "I'll Be Here Where The Heart Is." They ended up winnin´ a Grammy for this song in 1984. KC's version is also avalaible on "Café Racers" album.

That's an interesting argument that has been tried and tried again. But with album and single sales in millions (160 mln +) that statement seems to lose it's validity and become a personal opinion based on your own preference. You don't become one of the most respected singers in Soul, R&B, Rock n' Roll and Pop music by having a bad voice.
