instead of saying The answers are all there why don't you answer the damn question, because you never know who is watching your films if Lucas or Spielberg is watching and they don't get the ending just like I don't get it you think they will be calling you...The ending made no sense I agree with the foul language it was hard to hear some dialog and was he taking them back to prison or helping them escape, whats with we don't have much time WHY....I am lost...
Good job...I liked your pacing. Very 'indie', reminded me of something between 'O, Brother' and 'Gerry' (the film by Gus Van Sant'.
Wish I could have seen it in the theater. Our film wrapped up the festival, but wasn't as 'complete' as yours. Feel free to check ours out and let me know what you think.
Needed a better script. I didn't get the end. Was he taking them back to jail, or helping them escape? "We don't have much time"... what did that mean? Good editing. Foul language that didn't add to the plot at all. A lot of little kids are at these screenings. Think the judges are going to take that into consideration if there's a tie? Not a huge deal. Just a thought.
Your film had a TON of good qualities, Nathan. The acting was better than most, very subtle. Camerawork, sound and editing were good too. And re: language, the same advice was given to me years ago. Now to completely change the subject, I noticed your name on the original signup list. Of interest to me because my mom's family name is Gulick. She grew up on a farm in central Michigan. Maybe we're relatives!
@RickCalvert Think a bit. Why would they walk towards a man taking them back to prison? Why would they be allowed to get in the vehicle without restraints if they were going back to prison? Obviously they were both expecting the meeting. Now think; What kind of vehicles might not be searched?

@RickCalvert Also, how many prisoners on death row use no bad language? Just a thought.
