Honestly, I dont stick with the same flat iron... lol I know your probably like what? That doesnt even make since but seriously. I use my mother's, my g-ma, my aunt's, my friends... doesnt really matter to me. I do make sure it's a ceramic flat iron tho. I think that I'm gonna post a video showing me flat ironing my hair really soon. So stay tuned! =)

i lie the way you straighten and then d the curly wash i used to always experiment with that same idea i just cut my hair 2 weeks ago and then cut more off sat. im pregnant 3 month's so it will grow back really fast. like twice as fast. nice video

My last relaxer was Sept. 08 (but since I only get 3-4 relaxers a year) I'm still in OK shape, been searching youtube to see how widely the flat iron transition is being used...Do you find that is "very" damaging? I'm not ready for the BC just yet...

If you are referring to the curly do. I believe I just washed it, it may hav a little conditioner in it. I dont think I put anything else in it at that time.

or some people just do the twist out.. wash hair.. twist (use whatever product you use to put in your hair) some people put shea butter or kinky curly..etc. then bantu knot it.. wrap hair then let it dry over night and unravel it and there is yur curly fro.. for more ideas got to Curlychronicals or Rustic Beauty

Trust me, cuz as you can see I still got color on my ends but the color did do damage to my hair, but it's gotten better keeping it moisturized all day everyday! Keep the videos coming! Your hair is so pretty and so are you. I wish I could do styles like that to my hair. I've only been transitioning for two months so thanks for the ideas. I'm just wearing my hair in roller sets and sometimes I will wash my hair and put them in about 6 braids and them take them down when it's dry. I'm always looking for new ideas. I'm so glad that women like yourself are making videos for women like myself transitioning from relaxers to natural hair.

Hey girl, I love you hair. I haven't had a relaxer since December of 2007 and I recently cut the relaxed ends from the back of my hair, but when the humidity hits my hair it puffs up. Do you have suggestions for the transitional period or should I cut the rest of it off?

Well, actually, I had a relaxer and it broke my hair off. I had to start all over in the seventh grade. I only had a relaxer for about a year... but after that I just couldnt do it again.

so in short it felt like a big chop!
