huh, you said reason doesnt have an arpeggiator when it has one... its called RPG-8. am i missing something?

I have a question. I ordered my PK yesterday, it shipped today, should be here in three days and I was wondering if the device was strictly for use of midi, or if I could simply have it powered up and plug it into an amp and do stuff from there. I.E. have samples saved onto it already and then use it as a stand alone instrument without a computer. I'm guessing that it isn't like that though, but I just wanted some confirmation. Thanks.

Great video, Got on ? for you, If you set the Padkontrol to roll between 50 bpm and 200 bpm, will you get rolls on 50-100-150-200 bpm in one movement

Thanks a lot for this particular video as it was informational and specifically what I was looking for. I bought the Pad Kontrol in hopes that it would have the same similar functions as the mpc. I don't no how to use the roll function as a note repeat that would sync with my sequencer,(Sonar8). The important thing is that I know it is possible using abelton if I don't figure out how to do it with Sonar. Thank you so much !!!

Mine doesnt play the roll consistently some of the hits are out of sync like it stutters even when I leave the hold on what is the matter?

When this video was made there wasn't appregiator in reason. Now there is. :)

when i use the apreggiator in live for example to roll a snare (using drum racks), i put the arpeggiator on a snare..

ok so its in time

but its not responsive to the first hit, it sometimes doesnt make the snare trigger when you hit it, it takes a moment before you hear the snare, so its not like a true roll..

is there anyway to get the arp to start every time you actually hit the note? i guess its synced so thats the issue..

hi.. im about to buy a korg padkontrol.. could anyone tell me .. if you can save a finished song once youve recorded it using the padkontol and program that comes with it.. so you can listen to the song like any normal song.. like on windows media player ect. thanks very much..

I do know you get ableton live lite with the padkontrol,and you can record by just pressing the REC button.And you can edit and then burn it to disc once youve finished,its a great tool.

I heard somewhere that you can sync the PK's roll function to a sequencer via midi beatclock so it will sync to your sequencer's tempo.
