This song is special two us .when i meet my husband he was a bad boy.so he was in jail for a while I sent the lyricks to this song.and he was never the same he was in love with me and the song forever it was crazy after that he got out of jail and never went back we r still in made LOVE FOREVER we r old school too the boone music forever we meet 1996 thanks Percey Sledge!

Ohhhh this is just a beautiful song! I've been on this earth for 63 years and for the last year I've been trying to find out who sang this song. I received it attached to an e-mail and have been hunting for this voice, seems like forever. I'm just now finding out who sang this song...I listen to it everyday....I want this song at my eulogy (if I get one!).

To find the lyrics of old songs on the internet is hard they are the nearest accurate I could find. I do normally go over them listen to the song and watch the lyrics so I might have posted the wrong copy of the video. lol But thanks for letting me. If you or anyone has any requests let me know.

I have the CD and lyrics to the song. It is "come back and never leave me again", not and never be mean again. My dad used to sing this song all the time. I grew up a huge fan of Percy Sledge and bought every cassette and CD I could find with lyrics. Still, thanks for posting this song. I am not criticizing you, we all make mistakes. That's no problem the problem comes in when we don't learn from our mistakes.
