  • The engine is a 2.3 Litre Naturally Aspirated thing. It only had rear wheel drive (this was previously fought over). It was driven by Michael Guest (drove in PWRC, and Hyundai WRCar) co-driven by Mark Stacey/David Green. Driven by Rick Bates in the final round due to Guest having a driving infringement or something. This car was then sold and we haven't heard from it since its only season. It was an exciting car, would have been good on tarmac and did well on faster packed gravel

  • what engine?

  • haha he stalled at :40

  • so did they do a drivetrain switch or can you buy a stock ford focus with rear wheel drive

  • something like new Sierra :D Sierra will never come back :(

  • accidently nutted all over my desk just now

  • RWD focus = sex :D

    sick man

the stock focus should be rwd!!!!!!!

  • i can confirm that this car is indeed RWD, i know this because i am now the proud owner of this beast :)

  • really?? nice. :)

  • whats the point?

  • A Ladások keményebben nyomják :)

  • Brings a tear to the eye knowing how, with the brilliance of the Focus chassis and this rwd rally version, team RS are putting 300bhp through just the front wheels...

    Look at what they're missing!

  • Sounds great ! I would like to see more cars like that on the stages !

  • it sounds like a hoard of angry wasps

  • Listen to that demon howl.

  • This focus is NOT RWD only... it's AWD...

  • no, it's RWD. read what supersideways wrote...

  • It's a RWD 2.5L normally aspirated Focus. They built it for the 2006 season. Then they switched to a Fiesta for 2007.

  • Ford Australia built it before their S2000 car so they could get data for the next season. It was their return to rallying and was the crowd pleasing car, yet still finished in the top 10 on occasions. No one respects this car until you see it yourself. It is by far the best sounding rally car I have heard!

  • good question

  • like Rallyfan wrote - RWD Focus from Australia

  • Gues you mean front wheel drive
