Women didn't work outside the home because the work was too physically difficult and often it was quite dangerous and violent. I've read a lot of letters that were written during the US Civil War (1861-1865) and it was a lot more of a "civil" era than today by far. Men and women respected each other. Today, civilization is much lower in class and disgusting.

I really like Barbarossa's reframing of male roles, but this fantasy that most serious criminals (real prisons not jails) are nonviolent drug users etc, is just not realistic. I worked there in medical and they will tell you straight out. They killed someone over some stupid crap. They're embarrassed at how stupid they were unless they're really hopeless. Great point about teaching our sons. Just yesterday evening I had a conversation with my 7-yr-old son about not treating girls special. He told me his mother (she and I are divorced) has already started teaching him to be a "gentleman." I have my work cut out for me.

I do think there's some good evidence that men have been the brunt of sexual selection throughout our evolution (as is true of males in most species), but the fun thing about being human is the ability to contradict biological nature. We must simply be aware of the system of control and from that awareness change and freedom will flow naturally. Videos like this are a good step toward that awareness.

Men used to recognize this more widely. In fact during the renaissance when some of the most brilliant men of western history lived, professors were required to be celibate. Very few learned men of that era had children or pursued sex, and many, like Sir Isaac Newton, were virgins.

There is less need to compete with other men if there are fewer women worthy to compete for. Also, men by nature are less likely than women to form collectives to address the concerns of their gender. Many dismiss the possibility of men suffering systemic injustices against their sex, especially if they are perpetrated by women, as it clashes with the traditional male role. However, the very fact that men are starting to form collectives should let people know that something is indeed up.

You mention that women are concerned with the surface. When men jump through hoops for female attention, those men are then on the surface themselves, and allow themselves to get sucked into the game. I agree that men shouldn't compete like this, but there are already men who attack MRA's just for this purpose. A lot of behind the scenes people in feminism are powerful men; other men are probably a bigger threat than women are.

The mangina is a HUGE threat. I would not say they are more of a threat but they are equally as threatening. Most western men (largely a bunch of manginas) hate men as much as women do. If you do not believe me watch a Youtube video called "Educated black woman..." or some bullshit like that by a mangina known as JAYLOVE (can't remember the rest). The self-hatred is palpable. This does not explain why many women return over and over again to abusive relationships. Is it fun to get the crap beaten out of you? Most women want to feel secure, bottom line, and they will put up with anything to avoid the harsh reality of independent existence. Hence the attraction to money, power, and dominant personality.

Stockholm syndrome. And women are the opposite of rough like men, so they're to a degree attracted to that. You can't generalize ALL women though, you just haven't been out enough obviously. Women don't want a bad guy that treats her bad. They want a bad guy who has a real soft spot inside, so they can have the outward shallow attraction, but also the mental connection.

I think you're right about the soft spot thing, tho its easier in most cases for the women to imagine it into existance than to find the neanderthal with a heart of gold. Even better if she does bc/ then only she can see it - so special.
