Yes we need better controls on guns. We need better slide releases, we need better magazine releases, we need better take down levers, and last but not least we need better triggers.
The kid is just brainstorming, when she wakes up from the failure the education system delivered her she will change views. Gun control is treating a symptom, it's a cough drop for a cough. A cough can be caused by lung cancer, pneumonia or bronchitis, and upper resp infection, asthma, COPD, medications and allergies and I think anyone here would sue a doc for treating your cough with halls cough drops and ignoring the underlying cause of the symptom.
i watched a ad for moms against guns and it showed kids playing a gun like game to stop airsoft and it showed kids playing with real guns all i say is its FUCKED UP the show a little kid getting shot in the head so graphic and it was on tv you guys have a sick mind.

Pennsylvania would be wise to adopt Florida's gun laws. They stiffen the penalties on guns used in the commision of a felony. At the same time they block penalties, both civil and criminal, directed towards self-defense users. For example, a bank robber who shoots someone faces minimum mandatory sentencing of 25 years to life. 10 years minimum for just pulling the gun. A man who shoots a burglar in his own home or a woman who shoots a would-be rapist can not by statute be charged or sued.
@Sonofthebeach009 All of the bleeding heart and gun-phobic liberal nitwits in Philadelphia would throw crybaby shit fits if Pennsylvania adopted Florida's gun laws, especially the one that protects homeowners against frivolous lawsuits from ambulance-chasing lawyers when the homeowner has to shoot a poor and misunderstood home invader.
Liberals just plain suck ass, period. The same goes for Obama. People in America are more and more waking up to this truth.
"Today we need a nation of minute men; citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. The cause of liberty, the cause of American, cannot succeed with any lesser effort."
Boy oh boy, If we put serial numbers on the casings, we will be able to trace it back after its been used...That sure does solve the problem right there doesn't it?
And good luck keep track of ALL the ammunition produced just from factories. That would be 10s of millions of rounds a year.
And what about at ranges? Someone could take used brass, then reload it and use it in a crime and essentialy frame the original purchaser.
That idea has Uber Fail writen all over it. Sorry.
That's hilarious. All some shmuck has to do is sweep up some spent casings at the gun range, make sure they match and drop them at the crime scene. Additionally, revolvers don't expel casings.
@Chipster1337 Every idea left-winger liberals come up with has "Uber Fail" written all over it, but that does not even matter to them - it's all about their "good intentions" instead.
The road to Hell itself is paved with good intentions, which many left-winger liberals don't even believe in, of course, because many of them are also smug and smarmy atheists.
oh my god people stop blaming the guns and blame the people who killed the person they picked up a weapon and used it against the another being you are acting like guns are like wild animals and will kill people at random! wake up!! what you are doing is anti american and extremely Communist !
You'd ask a neurosurgeon for brain surgery, a lawyer for law advice and a suburban white girl with no gun experience and no fear of a crime about how we solve an age old issue that has ruined many great politicians.
If you are talking about negative liberties then the only way liberty comes into it is that you have no right to interfere with another individual going about their business. Target criminals. Don't concoct insane schemes to further restrict your liberties...

Shannon seems to be advocating a bullet serialization law here, which sounds nice, but is practically unworkable.
I'll bet somebody else put this teenager up to this whole thing.
