  • Every time I pass this place on the 405 I sing the 70s Cormier mellow jingle.

  • Great nostalgic spots that you have posted. Brings back memories of TV pre-cable.

Our agency handles Cormier Chevrolet. We are searching for any type of old footage from previous commercials they ran in the past.

Please let me know if we can obtain a copy of the spot that you have posted or any others you may have. we are trying to get this best footage available to use in the production of a new commercial.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • I bought my Z06 from them. They had the best price at the time, it was only $5000 over sticker. There's nothing like an honest dealer.

    Such a deal!!!!

  • The only dealer my dad would buy his Chevys at....to this day.

  • Located in San Diego. I bought a 1985 Monte Carlo from this dealership which was a retal car. Has Rallye Wheels, Rear defog, gauge package, AM/FM Stereo radio with cassette player, bucket seats, centre console. I am currently restoring the above mentioned vehicle.

  • I remember their mellow jingle from the early 70s:

"If you think you'd like a hand

    In buying a Chevy today

Come on out to discount land

    Cormier Chevrolet."

It would be great to hear that again.

  • boy do i remember that jingle!

  • I'm with you. Whenever I pass Cormier Chevrolet on the 405, I ALWAYS remember that tune. Sweet memories...such an easy-going tune. Nothing at all comparable to it today, which is a shame.

  • Yeah! That's the jingle I remember from the 70s with the harmonica in it.

  • @IDLERACER

Ah, I remember that jingle also....Those were the DAYS.....

  • Classic. Do you have any of those Lake Delores and Aames Home Loan commercials from the 1970. Remember the Aames Home Loan with the skinny guy and the chicken...."Aames Home Loan....To the Rescue!". I've got a bunch of old Beta tapes & I'm sure I probably have one somewhere.

  • I remember the other one, too -- How do you spell Chevrolet? C-O-R-M-I-E-R! Thanks for posting all these memories.
