@LordFinisher Is there any way to patch your Xcom Collectors Edition anymore? I bought it off of Steam and I just can't enjoy it with the difficulty glitch. Respond if you get a chance please.

@MrMinecraftGuruGuy Yeah, it's called XCOMUTIL.

By the way, the version available from Steam is not the Collector's Edition with the Win95 executable, it's the original DOS version, hence the reason why it runs in a *cough*modified*cough* DOSBox. Sorry, I've heard too many complaints about the Steam version being hideously slow or sluggish, which is easily fixed if you know DOSBox.

@MrMinecraftGuruGuy Although if I recall correctly, the Steam version actually did come post XCOMUtil, so it fixed a number of bugs including the difficulty glitch. If you're still encountering it, I wouldn't know what else to do other than to fire up XCOMUtil.

Omg Avalanche launcher useless!!! Are you kidding me ... There be plenty of Elerium on supply ships and battleships. Differences between superhuman and easy is there are a lot more ships to shoot at then you could count. Interceptor is not cheap better buy extra ship for down time.

In my first battle, i named one of my soldiers after my sister, lili.i gave her an auto-cannon, and by the end of the battle she killed all of the eathereals (i am not shitting you, that was my first encounter) and now shes a captain. After the first battle. and i still keep her fighting, i don't like having the strongest person in the group sitting in the sky ranger.
