Positive gains instead of negative gains is stabilization. The economy collapsed before Obama took office and then stabilized due to his actions. Bill O'Reilly is an opinion based show. Its not news. I rarely watch msnbc, cnn or nbc news. In a typical day I wake up to local Abc news and I read the Los Angeles times and sometimes the Daily News and if I buy a paper at Starbucks and they are out of the Los Angeles times I will read the New York Times. I listen to NPR radio. Bill O'Reilly is an entertainer and not really a good source of facts. Oreilly's job is to make people angry and fan the flames to create controversy, not news.

The evening news (with Katie Couric for example) is always more concise and focuses more on serious issues.
Sixty-minutes does investigative journalism.
The BBC (if available) offers excellent television journalism.
Public Access is also very good.
All of these are "mainstream media" and they have reported a lot more than the "issues" ou outlined.
Of course, that's just television -- what do you expect? Maybe try reading a newspaper (online or print).

keep dreaming chairde, we will be back! Maybe you need to take a moment and realize that Obama did not win in a landslide. The press acts like he did, but that does not make it so. He should have though, an unpopular rebulican president, an unpopular war, the economy was tanking and Macain was running a lackluster campain, to put it mildly. He should have won 70+%. Someday the debt Obama is running up will have to be paid. What then?

The Republican party won't be back for generations. Especially because of the coming indictments for torture and maybe even war crimes. The Bush people are running scared now and they should be.
That said I think the Republican party will break up into several smaller parties.

This is America we abide by normal moral standards of behavior. In our history we did not torture until the Bush cabal entered office under the guise of 'Christian values'. This is how "well" Obama is doing.
Selling treasuries to China enables them to keep the Yuan valued lower than the USD. We sell treasuries to sponsor Obama's $7 trillion dollar spending in the last 3 months. The public debt makes the current account deficit worse. It's already over $600 billion, add the multiplier effect and that's trillions off the GDP.
Instead Obama needs to convince the WTO to stop defending china's proctionist trade policies against the US.

Positive gains instead of negative gains is stabilization. The economy collapsed before Obama took office and then stabilized due to his actions. You cant blame the collapse on him no matter how you look at it bc he was not even elected yet when it began. However about two months ago it stabilized showing positve gains the last 6 weeks in a row and I credit that to the stimulus bill as the rally was based around banks like Citi's recovery. Now AIG is our main problem.
