@EnnkuT108 This is a 1970's streaker go kart and i put an older briggs and stratton 5hp motor on it with a couple little tweaks. i suggest looking on craigslist and going to yard sales.

u arent doing no 50 mph. at the most 40mph it revs way to fast so the gearing is low so i wont go fast but will get to top speed fast

Sorry dont believe 50-55mph maybe 30mph tops. Twin engined pro karts do 45-50mph. Engine sounds like a honda or stratton engine. Looks good for a home build though.

this is a true story but my friend did what he did he road his gokart to school its about 13 miles away from where he lives it goes about 35 mph not fast but still fun. and on his way there it cut out about 6 miles away from his home and 7 miles from the school anyways he couldnt get it started and he got superpissed! so he left it there and started jogging home to have his dad pick it up. and when they went to get it, it wasnt there. they called the police

the farthest on my kart that i have gone was a 25-30 mi trip (each way) just after i rotated the tires, that engine easily gets 55-65 mpg when im on a paved road when i was done with my trip, i still had a half tank on my 1gal. tank! i was kinda surprised...by the way, that was done with only 2 or 3 stops, so the engine was at a constant rpm

i plan on cleaning up the engine, and posting a new vid, and it it wont be fillmed onboard. but due 2 a man by the name of danno0069 i no longer can get onto the dirt...the one issue about the kart is that the bumby yards prevents gas from getting 2 the engine, and now it doesn't want 2 run as well as it can on the road...if u see other vids, u can notice that only the full-suspension karts are on the grass, every1 else is on the street and dirt roads...just in areas they dont get in trouble w/

believe it or not, i have no way of milling anything, and i can use a straight pipe if u have one, briggs makes a sraight pipe for their raptor engines, hell if it wasnt for the fact that my hand wasn't right next to it, the little exhuast aimer would be gone in a heartbeat, the cold air intake helps a lot though

oh, i have a pic on the other computer of the kart before i fully rebuilt mine, i used auto paint, i think i used a little less than a liter of paint, i first used a rustoleum primer. also, dupli-color has thier own line of engine paint, im thinking of putting a new coat on mine (ford blue of course)

now ur aware that that isn't the original 3.5hp engine, its a custom briggs, i built a cold ai intake, listen to the throaty carb @ around 7:oo i gas it and you could hear the carb over the engine.

You can bypass the governor and it will go faster. As well as the amount of teeth on your clutch and the size of the drive sprocket. Other than that you have go internal to make it faster.

i doverned the throttle, basically, it is the little lever attached to the carb. the stock throttle only goes so far, but if u bypass it, it goes to a much higher rpm...dont stay at the high rpm too long though, i already siezed an engine doing this.

i did this out in the country, except 4 this 1 tim u c here, most of the tim im on dirt, clay, & gravel.when i had it up in the town north of here, the cops came, & if it wasnt 4 the fact of the cops knowing who my dad was(a well-liked tow truck driver) it wouldv been impounded & i wouldv gotten a huge fine. last weekend i took a 3hr trip (there&back)& got like 35-40 mpg it would have been a 1hr trip but i missed my turn big time! i seized the first engine, but that engine was crap 2 strt out w/

ok, i'm gonna fix what i said last year, i took out the governor, cleaned the generator, built a cold air intake, tuned it to be a little heavy on the gas, so when there is air blowin in, it'll even out, and mixed the fuel as a 3/4 gas, 1/4 nitro methane. gotta change the oil a lot though... :D thats about it. im actually trying to get rid of the kart now...

But i do want to get ahold of a honda 350 drivetrain, those things are fast, the treewheeler types go 65 stock!
