I have 4 ferrets and 2 dogs one is a jack russell the other is a bird dog husky mix they both play with my ferrets the russell gets down on the floor and army crawls towards them the big one lets them crawl all over him .... I also have 5 cats boo kitty used to crawl in the cage and sleep with them now he's just to big and bunny plays with them as they pop in and out of boxes :)

my dog angus hates nigel while my other 4 small dogs are his bffs my weiner dog and him are bath buddies and nigel rides my wiener dog around the house

@Lambretta1995 LOL! Too cute! Did they end up being playmates? My Newf/Lab Jake used to play with them a lot when he was a pup. Now he'll occasionally lay with his nose at the end of one of their tubes and paw at them if they stick their heads out.
@Lambretta1995 omg same here! i thought i was going to have a heart attack when i noticed mine was out... but my HUGE weimaraner named chloe LOVES him, she pushes him around with her nose and she'll roll on her back and let him crawl all over her, she makes these cute liitle noises like shes laughing... its sweet

Because I know my pets. And I also know that since ferrets and cats are both carnivores there's no hunter/prey fear going on. In twelve years of ferret ownership I've never once had to separate the cats from the ferrets.

I was so lucky to be there at the shelter that day. He'd been found as a stray and the day I was there was the FIRST day he was available for adoption after being held to see if an owner showed up! He's a wonderful cat. SO much personality!
They eat a mix of Totally Ferret and Innova Evo cat - with 50% protein. Also sometimes get Petcurean Go! Natural - they LOVE that stuff and it's also 50% protein. Ferrets are carnivores and need a diet VERY high in protein.
He was doing that when I first got him - which was ok because he was very underweight - only about 6 pounds! But then as he started to gain weight back the cage would sway a bit :-0!! Thankfully now he just climbs up on the dresser that's next to it now and watches them from there lol

It's 30" wide, 18" deep and about 5 feet high plus the stand. It's a Super Pet cage. Has a lot of room for them but it's a bitch to clean. I may be getting a new one very soon.
My ferrets LOVE cats. Bailey always thought it was best to bite on their neck and ride them into the next room. When I first got Bailey she laid with a litter of kittens that our cat brought into my bottom drawer and the momma loved her :)
Oh not Percy! He loves playing with them. He also likes trapping them in the closet. I'll hear hissing and go in the bedroom and see him innocently outside the closet door like "What?" and then you see this nose stick out from under the door lol
He's in love with Roxy - the little female. There's a few vids of him in here with her. He'll even climb up on my dresser next to the cage and paw at look around the cage for her then try to pat her with his paw to wake her up - like "Come out and play!"
Percy's a Persian. I found him at the Seattle Animal Shelter in Feb 06. Persians are sweet, sweet cats and a lot of fun!! Just a LOT of work keeping that coat nice!
I love the ferret smell,i have 2 ferrets.

I adopted Brighton at 5 years old from an animal shelter. I love seeing Percy's videos :)
