Would you know how to fix a broken volume t.v. I believe the volume wiring is off on my t.v. and the volume goes up and down uncontrollably. I would like to try to fix it myself.
@helen2300 see if the volume button is stuck or do hard reset the tv by unplugging it for 1 minute, sometimes the volume is controlled by the cable box so plug in a dvd player to tv because it might be the dvd or cable box device or tv input is faulty. remember if you try to fix it and still don't fix it at least you learned something.
The soundboard would be rare to have. It is most commonly a mainboard.... If this fix works you more than likely can buy the internal speakers for the same price as the tv speakers and replace it.
@nedfbrcks13 check your audio cables going to tv, and audio settings in your xbox, connect xbox to another tv and see if you get audio or connect xbox to another input on your tv. you might have a bad port in back of your tv or xbox or bad cable, if that doesn't fix it call microsoft for a warranty repair .

i have a tv and only one of two speakers work its a older ass tv than urs

My xbox doesnt work with the sound. The tv works just not the xbox
