I remembered watching this when I was about 6 yrs-old. It was better back then than the shows they have on FOX anymore. All of it being the same "who gets knocked out of existence"-based reality crap.

FOX or whatever network that plays syndicated retro programming MUST BRING THIS SHOW BACK ON TV...or else send me a link to a torrent to this very show, so I can watch it on my HDD/DVD/VHS/SD Player or Nintendo Wii.

my mom was telling me that this movie was amazing so i watched it it was then she told me about the the second one i liked not as good as the first but good then she told me the ruined the hole movie by a TV show fallowed by a bad cartoon so im geusssing keanu reeves is such wooden actor because he was very depressed by the terrible Tv shows

Take it away!Take it away! Isn't that the same title as the cartoon show? From what I've seen the cartoon's great. Wish there could be a DVD release. I just got the one episode on the dvd collection for the movies. This opening is horrable and I'm sure the show was bad as well. They should try this with movies of today. How about a show based on "The Curiose Case of Benjamen Button" or "Joe Dirt" or some other movies that should never spawn a TV series.

LOL, it was actually a fun little show. Better than average for Fox during that period. And Don Lake is great in anything.

Actually, I will admit you are right ... it wouldn't have been a bad show at all ... if it had had nothing to do with Bill & Ted. But they just didn't even try to get the characters right. I really wish they had just respected the source material, as it could have been as classic as Weird Science!

Yeah, Weird Science is the definitive "how to get it right" transition from movie to TV. It seems they tried to do the same with Bill & Ted, mainly by softening the characters and scaling down the threat level...they just didn't succeed. The sad thing is that it could have worked well if they'd been more ambitious.

Well, they probably WERE more ambitious before the butchers at Fox handed down a laundry list of tweaks. "Love the pilot, guys! Can you just change everything?"

Actually, that was done in the movie, Excellent Adventure, as well, it just isn't as obvious in the film. But look again, the electricity is in the form of hands there, too!

Alex Winter has said he and Keanu were given the script and told the premise of the show, when asked if they wanted to be involved, they didn't want to because it messed around too much with the characters and such.

I remember this show. It was on Sunday evenings in 92, I think it was on after True Colors or Parker Lewis opposite 60 Minutes. I had heard that originally Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves were mildly interested in the project until they read scripts where Bill S Preston turned down a girl for a date telling her she was fat, or ugly, or something to that effect. He felt the great ones were pure and not ones to mock people with such cruelty. Weird, huh?

Actually what happened in that ep is Rufus had a dream that somehow Chicken Kiev brought down their society. He then accidently wrote "Chicken Kiev" on a plaque intended for Captain Logan (Ted's dad) which caused a fight between Bill & Ted and which brought down the future society. Pretty sad, huh?

I totally remember this show and the cartoon they had on in the early 90's. I think I watched the movies only after being a fan of the cartoon and playing the NES game. They really should revive the B&T franchise and make another film. It'd sure give Keanu Reeves' acting career a shot in the arm.
