  • Thank you so much, I couldnt find out what I did wrong, I forgot to select UV coods. thanks again

  • It helped, thanks. You know a website where i can get some, "unwrapped" images?

  • @risingbanana As I say in the tutorial CubeeCraft have lots, Google image search will find some but be careful with security. A digital camera and some image editing software is a fun way of making textures.

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH .... i was looking for this toturial a long time :D

  • Dude, you rock...this helped so much...like button here I come :)

  • Not a bad Tutorial but for the love of god please don't take Valium a record tuts...

  • THANK U SO MUCH!!!!!

  • Thanks for the great tut! Just started learning Blender and got to the point that all the tuts I needed were for 2.4:( This one worked great!

  • Oh ya Ian...make sure the face texture box is checked under materials button. ;O)

  • Nice job Ian. Why is it that you have to load the image from the texture button and set it to uv? I am still fighting with where to put seams but never-the-less if I unwrap the mesh and set the view to textured the image appears on the mesh without using the texture button. Am I missing something?

  • @Mike2008and2008 In edit mode the uv window links the image to the object but when you press F12 to render, I don't think it works? I have found that it only renders properly when the object is linked to a material that is linked to a texture with the required settings. Please try rendering and see if I am correct.
