The man was an architect in the whole Southern Soul movement... wrote dozens of soul classics... kept it real thoughout the disco and synth pop age... and still he hasn't received his due. Did this great song get lost during the transition of Stax being held by Atlantic when it was recorded, and all the legal crap that Atlantic pulled on the folks at Stax over ownership of the masters? This was released right at the break point and should have been a huge hit. It didn't even chart in the U.S. Too bad... it's a great tune.
@humza101 That game introduced me not only to Eddie (and consequently everyone else on Stax) but also John Lee Hooker and Juicy Lucy, not a brilliant game but it had one hell of a soundtrack.
