mmm gordonrob, good taste but you just have it it the wrong way about, matt monro had the better voice, without the the backing of .........well leave out those low life...our matt was the better voice/singer

Matt Monro must go down as one of the great male vocalists of all time......Apparently Sinatra was quoted as saying he (matt Monro) was his favourite artist. High praise indeed from the greatest of them all !

Love this song and no-one sings it like Matt Monro. Every word was clearly sung. I used to think he was old fashioned when I was young, and it's only now I can appreciate what a wonderful voice he had.
